That's right. I'm reading Pride and Prejudice. Be it as summer reading for AP Lit, but I just have to say, it's really good.
I wasn't expecting that. For some reason I thought I would not like it very much. Now I think this is the start of a new obsession...
So. You people. What Jane Austen have you read and what are your favorites?
OH. And have you seen the covers from the HarperTeen editions? I think I might have to get all of these.
you should check out LOST IN AUSTEN. it was a TV show but there is a DVD out there called Lost in Austen and it is formatted as a movie. I think you'll enjoy it :)

ReplyDeleteAnd P.S.- I love the HarperTEEN covers, too! I got one for Wuthering Heights and Romeo and Juliet. Might have to get one for Emma, just because I like the pink on black.
Persuasion is my favorite. You should read it next. And I really like the Harper Teen covers.
